A K-TECH Make piston valve is a linear-motion valve used for reliable fluid isolation, shut-off, and throttling in industrial piping systems. Piston Valve regulates flow using a cylindrical piston that slides through two resilient sealing rings separated by a lantern bush, providing a glandless and bubble-tight seal.
K-Tech Make Piston Valve Design Features & Advantages:
Glandless Leakproof Design: Replaces conventional stem packing with upper and lower sealing rings, eliminating fugitive emissions and media loss.
Self-Cleaning Mechanism: As the stainless steel piston moves down, it wipes away debris and solids from the sealing rings, preserving ring integrity.
In-Line Maintenance: Sealing rings and lantern bushes can be replaced directly within the pipeline without removing the valve body.
Dual Functionality: Serves both as an effective shut-off valve and as a reliable control/throttling valve when equipped with a specialized regulating piston.
Thermal Shock Resistance: Designed to withstand rapid temperature and pressure fluctuations without binding or losing seal integrity.
