When the sleeve of the K-TECH air operated pinch valve is worn, it can be replaced easily and economically. K-TECH Pneumatic Pinch Valves quickly and effectively shut off most material, liquid and dry material flows. The pinch valve will close tightly to remove material from the liquid. Even high viscosity materials are no problem. The K-TECH Pneumatic Pinch Valve is versatile thanks to its unique flow design. Pressure requirements for control materials vary depending on elastomer size and valve size and can range from medium vacuum (up to 26" Hg) to high 90 psi maximum when using air control. The pressure control required is usually 20 to 40 psi higher than the supply pressure. Using more pressure (air or liquid) will cause the valve to close completely, which will affect the life of the sleeve. Pressure above 90 psi is not recommended.
